Old Town Certified Farmers’ Market
The 2012/2013 season begins Sunday, September 29, 2012!
The Certified Farmers’ Market are Sundays from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. during September – May
Enjoy the freshest produce, herbs, honey, nuts, cheese, cut flowers & plants, fresh-baked breads from L’Artisan Bakery, live chef demonstrations and live music. Also featured are organic apples and apple juice from Cayuma Farms; a wide variety of delicious, fresh berries from Pudwill Farms; Da-Le Ranch offering USDA inspected pork, lamb, rabbit, chicken and beef and Ronin Sharpening, specializing in sharpening kitchen knives for the home chef as well as the professional chef, restoring them to original condition.
While you’re in Old Town, be sure to peruse through the unique shops in Old Town and enjoy coffee, brunch or lunch at any of the fabulous Old Town restaurants. Be sure to take time to indulge in some pampering. You will want to make a whole day of it!
Art Under the Umbrellas
The 2012/2013 season begins October 27, 2012!
Art Under the Umbrellas shows are one-day events located in Old Town La Quinta from 10am to 4pm on designated Saturdays (shown below).
Over 70 artists participate at each Art Under the Umbrellas event, located along the closed-off streets of this charming outdoor venue reminiscent of colonial Mexico. This makes for an enjoyable day outdoors perusing artist wares, exploring Old Town shops, and dining in Old Town restaurants. Art patrons will find quality artwork, while tourists will discover treasured mementos. Live entertainment all day.
